During her interview with Elle Magazine that’s already sparked buzz, Beyoncé Knowles said that after working so hard for so much of her life, she’s having trouble settling down.
"Being this huge pop star is not my focus right now. I’ve done that. I wanted to sell a million records, and I sold a million records. I wanted to go platinum, I went platinum.
She continues saying, “I’ve been working nonstop since I was 15. I don’t even know how to chill out."
It would suck to not know how to chill. Most people have trouble being motivated enough to start working. That’s got to be part of the reason she doesn’t want to have kids yet. It would mean she needs to stop working.

Happy 55th birthday Tina Knowles! Tina is the mother of superstar, Beyoncé and sister, Solange, and is also the wife of Matthew Knowles, father and manager to the starlets. With her and Matthew’s help, Destiny’s Child took flight. Tina designed and created the Destiny’s Child style and is now Bey’s designer. She and Beyoncé have created their own clothing line called, House of Deréon. She’s done great thing to make sure her daughters get to where they want be. We hope you have a great birthday Tina!

Well, whatever floats your boat, right? According to Now Magazine, Beyoncé stated that she actually feels her sexiest while she’s casual and un-glamafied.
“I feel sexiest walking round my house with bare feet and messy hair. Our relationship is very easy. We respect each other. You know someone loves you by the way he treats and respects you.”
She continues by saying, “I think like a guy. If I do something wrong I don’t get emotional.”
Aw! I’m just lad that she and Jay-Z seem to be so happy together!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, we’re ending another year today, so before we enter 2009, I thought it’d be nice to have our very own countdown to a what great year Beyoncé and Jay-Z have had for 2008. Here’s my Top Ten Best 2008 Moments for the two lovebirds.
#20. Peta Makes Peace With Beyoncé
The number #20 spot on my list goes to PETA making peace with Beyoncé after they basically ambushed Beyoncé for wearing fur and having animal fur in her clothing line. They decided to reach out to her and Jay-Z by saying, “From all of us at PETA, we wish you much happiness in your life together. Please accept this faux-fur throw with many good wishes and a hope from us that together, you’ll be a fur-free couple!”
More after the jump!

Unfortunately, Jay-Z has had to put off a hotel project in New York City due to a lack of funding. With the current economic crisis, even millionaire rapper, Jay-Z is having trouble paying for things. He and his real estate partner, Charles Blaichman have had to stop the progression of the $66 million project because no investors are willing to help out.
Blaichman works mainly in southern Manhattan and has been having trouble finding investors for West Village’s Perry Street Hotel and West Chelsea’s J Hotels, which he has supposedly been working with Jay-Z for. Jay and others have paid about $66 million to finance this project.
"It’s one of the greatest stretches of undeveloped areas," Blaichman told the paper. "I still think it’s going to take off."
Well, hopefully everything gets sorted out. This recession has taken it’s toll on just about everyone, hasn’t it?

Solange Knowles performed her song “Sandcastle Disco” at “Dick Clark New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2009.” The song is off of her album, “Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams.” I thought she did a good job, but that eye shadow was bright. I was really liking her hair - it looked great. Let me know what you think of her performance below!

Beyoncé’s song, “Smash Into You” off of her album “I Am…Sasha Fierce” was supposedly written for Jon McLaughlin’s album, “Ok Now” and was called “Smack Into You.” Rumors say the song was performed at his summer and fall tour, but that they discarded the song when the album was finalized. So, it was then given to Bey who changed the title to “Smash Into You.” You can listen to both Bey’s and Jon’s below. I don’t know, I might actually like Jon’s more.

Happy New Year everyone! Lucky couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z got to go vacationing in the Caribbean during the holidays, somewhere off the coast of St. Barts. They lounged on their yacht and Bey hopped on a jet ski. You’ll also see some pics of them hanging out in shops and walking around at night. I like it when she wears her hair naturally curly! Enjoy the photos!
More after the jump!

Well, this story comes from the National Enquirer, saying that Janet Jackson is angry with Beyoncé. Apparently, Bey was being interviewed by Elle Magazine and had some not-so-nice things to say about the Jackson family.
“I grew up upper class. Private school,” Beyonce says. “My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like The Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”
So then, an inside source reportedly contacted the National Enquirer saying, "Yes, Janet and the Jackson family came from Gary, Indiana, and there was a time they barely squeaked by. But Janet has many loving memories and is incensed that Beyonce would make a crack like that.”
The source supposedly goes on to say, “Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family. They’re not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she’s from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats.”
Then, it seems like a threat is made when the insider says, "Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she’s planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act."
Well, I don’t actually believe that it went all out like that. I mean, we’re talking about the National Enquirer here, so don’t take this too seriously. They aren’t very reliable. However, I do think that what Bey said was a bit rough. What do you guys think? Is this beef with Janet really as bad as they say it is?

Well, it seems as if Ciara’s trying to get back at Beyoncé for “If I Were a Boy”, which got people talking about how similar the song was to Ciara’s “Like a Boy.” So, Ciara did a cover on Beyoncé’s new song “Diva.” But the problem is that Ci Ci didn’t get approval from Bey or her label before making this cover. She might get in some trouble for that.
I personally prefer the Beyoncé version of this song since it’s a lot stronger. Ciara’s voice is weaker than Beyoncé’s so I just wasn’t a huge fan of it. You can listen to the Beyonce version here, and you can listen to the Ciara one below.
